Share Your Heart And Spread More Chrismtas Goodwill

As the year draws to a close and we finalise our plans for Christmas and the holidays, let us take a little time to share our heart and to spread goodwill with others.

Goodwill can be defined as cheerful acquiescence or willingness; an attitude of kindness or friendliness; benevolence.  It’s an attitude which reaches out and touches others, awakening the heart and soul with simple words and gestures.

Spreading Good Will

There are many ways of spreading goodwill with those you connect with, whether that be in person, through the mail or using technology. Here are three ways you can spread goodwill this Christmas and holiday season:

  • Have a happy grateful attitude.  People feel your attitude.  Connect with all the ways that your life is blessed, and then share that energy with others.
  • Carry around a pocket/purse full of change.  This will make it easy to contribute to good causes rattling fund raising tins that you come in contact with.
  • Take friends, family and guests to visit local areas decorated for the Christmas season.  It’s fun to see what others have created, and connects us with the joyful child within
  • Decorate your house.  Dress the house up in a way that makes you feel joyful and festive
  • Donate toys.  Select new and like-new toys to kids in need
  • Smile.  A smile costs you nothing but can light up another person’s day.  And, smiles are contagious!
  • Invite others to join your celebrations.  There are a number of people for a variety of reasons who will potentially be alone.  Inviting them to join you will help them feel connected and cared, and give them something special to fill in their time.

Remember goodwill is something you can spread all year round, it does just have to be during Christmas or other seasonal and cultural festivities.

Connect To The Heart And Spread Goodwill

You can create a more inspired and empowered life today implementing today’s wisdom – take steps today to connect with your own heart, and to share the spirit of Christmas with others.
