Are You One of The 36% or 64% of People?

Are you one of the 36% OR one of the 64% of people?  That’ the question I want you to ask yourself today.

It’s February already! And to state the obvious – that’s one month gone of 2018.

That means there’s less than 11 months remaining to achieve any new years resolutions or goals you resolved to achieve in 2018.  Have you converted them into written goals that you’ve started implementing?

Are You One of 36% or 64% of People

Are You One Of The 36% OR One Of The 64%?If you’re still focused and taking action on your new year’s resolutions, then well done, because that means you’re doing better than 36% of people who make resolutions.  According to a study done by Scranton University in 2014  36% of people who set resolutions have started and given up, or have never started, within the very first month.  That means that by only February more that 1/3 of people have given up!  With  only 64% of people  still working on their resolutions. Which of these percentage groups do you fall into?

3 Reasons Why Resolutions Fail

There can be lots of reasons why 36% of people making resolutions fail. Below I’ve listed three key reasons:

1. Vague resolutions which lack the clarity of direction
2. Insufficient motivation to get started on resolutions in the first place, and then to keep going
3. A lack alignment which creates incongruency, conflict and fragmented effort

Do What Makes You Ten Times More Likely To Achieve Your Goals

The same Scranton University study also highlighted the fact that writing your goals down makes you 10 times more likely to achieve your goals.  Clearly, writing down you goals has a significant impact.  Dont’ be like the 36% of people.  Instead, increase your ability to stick to your resolutions and goals this year by making sure you have your 2018 goals written down.

Do You Have Your Goals Written Down For 2018?

If you DON’T yet have powerful goals for this year… ones which are written down … Then it’s time to get cracking and write your goals. And I have free resource to help you. It will help you to avoid the shortcomings of traditional goal setting.  Click here now to get my free resource.

If you DO HAVE written goals written but are interested in ways to improve and refine them. Then get my free resource. You’ll learn my 8 point checklist and the 3 important elements which are missing from traditional goal setting. Click here to get my free Checklist.

Alternatively, you may want assistance to get your goals writing started or finished quickly.  If that sounds like you, please contact me, and we’ll organise a time to chat.

Be one of the 64%, rather than the 36% of people who set resolutions. And take at least one action step today to create the life and success you desire in 2018.

Warm regards
Lisa
